CATEGORIES OF EVENT PASSES (TICKETS)


IMMERSIVE COLORADO is a special 4 day event for which the following categories of passes (tickets) are available:

  1. All Access Passes: All Access Passes provide access to ALL aspects of IMMERSIVE COLORADO for all 4 days of the event. All Access Pass holders enjoy complete access to all keynotes, all featured talks, all presentations, all papers, all demonstrations (demos), all hands-on workshops, and all social events and activities. All Access Passes include unrestricted access to all aspects of both the Denver Sessions and La Junta Sessions (see below). Visitor access to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science is also included with this pass (a $15 value). Transportation from Denver to La Junta on August 25th, the return trip on August 27th, and the Virtual Reality workshops that are conducted at Colorado landmarks along the way are included with your All Access Pass. All Access Passes also include an Immersive Education (iED) Virtual Reality headset.

  2. Denver Sessions: The Denver Sessions occur on the evening of August 23rd and during the day and evening of August 24th. The conference begins on August 23rd with a evening reception at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, followed by a series of welcoming talks in the museum's planetarium ("dome"). During the day on August 24th the social event and "user interface" workshop components of the Location-based Scavenger Hunts occur. The Denver Sessions conclude in the museum's planetarium on the evening on August 24th. Visitor access to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science is also included with this pass (a $15 value). Please note that an Immersive Education (iED) Virtual Reality headset is NOT INCLUDED with a Denver Sessions pass, and must be purchased separately if you would like one.   3. La Junta Sessions: The La Junta Sessions occur on August 25th and August 26th, and feature the "Virtual Reality (VR) in Colorful Colorado" hands-on workshops that take place as we travel together as a group (on private buses, although you can drive your own car if you'd like) from Denver to La Junta and back. We return to the Denver airport (via private bus) by 3pm on August 27th, after which the buses will do a drop-off at the museum for those who do not fly home on the 27th. When we are in La Junta you are cordially invited to "cut the virtual ribbon" on Immersive Bent's Fort (which is immediately proceeded by a hands-on Minecraft workshop), officially opening the Minecraft rendition of the historic fort to teachers, students and the general public. La Junta Sessions Passes


The La Junta Sessions occur on August 25th and August 26th, and feature the "Virtual Reality (VR) in Colorful Colorado" hands-on workshops that take place as we travel together travel together as a group (on private buses, although you can drive your own car if you'd like) from Denver to La Junta and back. We return to the Denver airport (via private bus) by 3pm on August 27th, after which the buses will do a drop-off at the museum for those who do not fly home on the 27th.

When we are in La Junta you are cordially invited to "cut the virtual ribbon" on Immersive Bent's Fort (which is immediately proceeded by a hands-on Minecraft workshop), officially opening the Minecraft rendition of the historic fort to teachers, students and the general public.

About the Immersive Education Initiative

The Immersive Education Initiative is a non-profit international collaboration of educational institutions, research institutes, museums, consortia and companies.
