The inaugural South Africa Blockchain in Education Symposium, and corresponding hackathon, will be held February 6th and 7th at Stellenbosch University in collaboration with South Africa's National Institute for Theoretical and Computational Sciences (NITheCS) and the Switzerland-based Knowledge Foundation international standards organization.
Stellenbosch is South Africa's premier wine producing region. Located in the Western Cape's Coastal Region, Stellenbosch is steeped in wine producing history and is home to the country's best-known and famous wine estates. Cabernet Sauvignon is the most widely planted grape variety, and is often combined with Merlot to create Bordeaux Blend wines.
